Shakya Gyaltsen, RMT
Shakya was born and raised in India. He is a qualified physician of Tibetan Herbal medicine.
He graduated in 1995 from a 6-year medical training program at the prestigious Men-Tsee-Khang founded by the Dalai Lama.
Upon moving to Canada, Shakya received his diploma in Massage and Diploma of Acupuncture from the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in 2017.
He incorporates the Tibetan healing modalities of fire cupping, Tibetan Herbal Compress therapy, Tibetan Hot Oil therapy as part of his massage treatment.
Shakya also offers Chinese Tuina Massage, Deep tissue massage therapy, Reflexology, Myofascial release, Swedish relaxation massage therapy, hot stone massage and Indian Head massage.
Shakya can help other health concerns beyond what traditional massage therapy is known to help, based on the Acupuncture and Tibetan Medicine training.
