Dr. Eric Arrata, ND
Dr. Arrata is a Naturopathic Doctor in Calgary. His passion is understanding health and its relationship to the world around us. Over the years, that passion has been flavoured with the core Dr Eris Arrataprinciples of anthroposophic, biological, energetic and Eastern medicines. He believes in creating a healthcare framework that explains the obstacles to health, their effects and remedies for regaining vitality.
After completing his B.Sc. in Molecular Biology from the University of Calgary, Dr. Arrata spent time at the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal, working on protease inhibitors for the treatment of HIV. A desire for more fundamental answers to health and personal interaction took him to Seattle, WA where he completed his N.D. at Bastyr University. His practice currently focuses on biological approaches to health.
Dr. Arrata is a member of the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA), Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) and the American Academy of Ozonotherapy (AAO).
Dr. Arrata is certified/registered in: AMLS, ACLS, CCT, Bio-oxidative therapies, emergency procedures and provides treatments in individualized detoxification, constitutional medicine, advanced IV therapeutics, ozone, photo-oxidation, hydrogen peroxide, chelation, Regenerative Injection Techniques, neuraltherapy and mesotherapy.
Dr. Arrata has previously served as:
- Competency Chair of the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners
- Alberta representative to the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors
