Mesoglow
Look Younger & Healthier
Mesotherapy Technique
Mesotherapy is an old French technique that infuses skin with vitamins and medicines to enhance skin brightness and radiance.
Mesotherapy is also used to remove fat deposits and reduce pain.
Also commonly called ‘The J Lo Glow’ it is publicized as a common treatment movie stars have before their red carpet and similar events.
At our Medical Aesthetics Clinic, we use a combination of hyaluronic acid and essential vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants in our mesotherapy treatments.
Administered by a medical device, the medicinal amounts of active ingredients are placed painlessly into your skin via tiny ‘microneedles’. It feels like warm raindrops falling on your skin.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in your skin. It diminishes with age, leaving you with aged, dull and lifeless looking skin.
Most creams and lotions containing hyaluronic acid are ineffective. This is because the hyaluronic acid molecule is too large to be absorbed through the skin.
Only few creams have been created to have the right type of molecule that can penetrate the skin. The best biochemical process to infuse skin with hyaluronic acid is by micro-injections (mesotherapy). Or to inject as facial fillers to restore volume by deeper injection (Restylane, Juvederm and Teosyal are brand names of filler most commonly known).
Hyaluronic acid lubricates joints, and it is the substance between your skins collagen and fibres. It attracts and retains large amounts of moisture, hence it is one of the most commonly desired beauty product ingredients.
Other ingredients in the medicine mixture applied by mesotherapy:
Amino acids to support collagen production Vitamins and minerals to nourish healthy cellular regeneration Anti-oxidants to prevent and reverse sun damage.
